Archspan Segmental Tied Hangar

Type 3 - Segmental Tied Hangar. Spans of 200m or more

 

Bigger Aircraft Hangars can be made of REIDsteel Segmental Tied Trusses able to span 200m or more.

Existing Segmental Tied Hangars:

This hangar was built at St Mawgan Airport in Newquay, England. It is an Archspan roof structure giving it a large lightweight clear span. The client started with a much smaller requirement which grew bigger when he discovered the economy of a REIDsteel hangar.
